Biography

I am a native of Kansas City, a devoted husband and father of three. Currently I'm a free-lance musician/composer/bandleader living in Overland Park, Kansas. Through the years I have consistently dedicated myself to the promotion and development of jazz, saxophone, and live music. At the moment I'm directing Jazz Ensemble II at the University of Kansas, and the Blue Devils Big Band at Kansas City Kansas Community College. When I'm not directing, practicing or performing, I can be seen conducting jazz tours and jazz history courses for the Osher Institute of Continued Learning.
